The refined CENSUS data model matrix enriched with cumulative IN and OUT degree distribution plots, for every link type between two node types. Every plot indicates the cumulative probability P(k) (between 1 and 0.0001 on the y-axis) that a node has a certain number of OUT-going or IN-coming links (between 1 and 3000 on the x-axis). The axes are scaled logarithmic. The depiction reveals a whole zoology of tailed distributions. Whereas node-link diagrams as shown in Figures 5 and Figure 7 are of limited use for larger datasets, a data model matrix using degree distributions or other network measures is easily scalable and useful regarding massive datasets.
