Databases can be mapped to a basic schema of nodes and edges
Even the most complicated databases can be stored as a graph in a basic schema with two tables: Objects or records are stored as nodes in a nodeset table. Relations are stored as links or edges in an edgeset table. (cf. Figure 20-3 in Segaran 2009 ).
